Announcing the Tenney Thermal Shock Chamber – Meets Military Standard 883G Method 1010.8

Posted: Oct 03, 2014

The Tenney Thermal Shock Chamber is designed for the environmental testing of non-flammable, non-hazardous, non-volatile electronics, consumer products, and aerospace, telecommunications, and military and defense components and equipment. It meets Military Standard 883G Method 1010.8 for determining the resistance of a part to extremes of high and low temperatures and the effects of alternating exposure to those temperature extremes.

Limit switches stop the transfer process and allow for precise product positioning. An alarm and shutdown circuit provide over- and under-temperature protection to ensure product safety and accurate test results. This chamber is value priced, and uses water instead of liquid nitrogen for cooling.
