Tenney Environmental Ships One Reach-In Test Chamber to the Electronics Industry

Tenney Environmental, a division of Thermal Product Solutions, announced the shipment of a UTC Series Reach-In Test Chamber and a remote testing chamber to the electronics industry. These test chambers are designed to condition electronic tilt sensors. This test chamber has an operating temperature range of 0°C to 50°C when being used as Conditioning Air System but has a range of -68°C to 180°C when being used as a chamber. The construction of the chamber includes a combination of fiberglass and polyurethane insulation surrounding the chamber to maximize insulating characteristic. This vacuum drying oven is designed to remove moisture from a large spacecraft engine after it goes through a washing process. The previous conventional method of drying took over 12 hours due to the intricacy of small diameter tubing, fine screen meshes, and other hard to get to areas. The space simulator is a fairly standard piece of equipment for Tenney, but each simulator can be customized to meet the customer’s unique process needs.
