1200°C Small Diameter Tube Furnaces

Blue M 1200°C split hinge tube furnaces are configurable for horizontal or vertical use. Choose from single zone models of 12", 18", 24", and 36" heated lengths, and three zone models of 24" to 36" heated lengths. Furnaces use independent digital temperature control modules (ordered separately) which are available in standard or programmable options.

The split hinge design permits easy observation, fast cooling, convenient placement of the process tube and overall ease of operation. All models can be used with a variety of ceramic, quartz, or alloy process tubes (customer supplied), diameters to 6" depending on model. One set of tube adapters is included with each model

Single-Zone Furnace Options
  • Option P:
    One Programmable controller

    This option offers the convenient flexibility of multiple ramping to setpoint temperatures and holding for variable time periods at those temperatures. The temperature controller provides 16 programmable segments consisting of ramps or dwells.

  • Option P4:
    One 4-Program Controller

    This option offers the convenient flexibility of multiple ramping to setpoint temperatures and holding for variable time periods at those temperatures. The controller provides up to four 16 programmable segments or, linked
    together, one 64-segment program.

  • Option B:
    Excess temperature protection

    This option provides positive protection of both furnace and load in event of failure in the primary control circuit. Completely redundant circuit includes separate high temperature limit instrument with manual reset pushbutton, magnetic contactor and independent thermocouple.
Three-Zone Furnace Options
  • Option P:
    One Programmable Controller plus zone controls

Other Options

  • Digital communication kits allow modification and interrogation of all instrument control and configuration parameters from a remote computer using Blue M provided SPECVIEW ® software. Kits are available to interface with RS232 or RS422/485 communication ports.
  • Atmosphere retorts are available when controlled atmosphere processing is required.
  • Floor stand, for vertical installation. This option is required to support 55000 Series Tube Furnaces in a vertical configuration. Floorstands include all mounting hardware.
  • Inert and Combustible atmosphere admission systems.
